Our patented technology uses UV-LEDs and optical lensing to deliver an intense directed beam of UVC energy into flowing water. The intense collimated beam of UV energy inactivates waterborne pathogens directly, delivering superior disinfection with incomparable consistency.
Environmentally Friendly Solution
Acuva’s chemical free technology provides a sustainable solution for OEMs, phasing out conventional uv lamp systems to comply with the UN Minamata convention on mercury. Our most common single LED module configuration effectively reduces the need for 1.2 million single-use plastic water bottles in its lifetime. With that being said, a typical order of 5,000 UV-LED modules reduces the need for 6 billion single-use plastic water bottles to make a signifigant difference in the war against plastic waste.
