Acuva water treatment systems use a two-step process including a pre-filter and the UV-LED unit.
First, water is treated by an advanced pre-filter that removes 99% of chlorine and lead, plus VOCs and unpleasant odors.
Next, the water flows through the Acuva UV-LED unit, where UV-C light is applied to the water. This inactivates 99.999% of E. coli bacteria*.

After that, the water passes through our premium smart faucet at a rate of 1L to 5L per minute (depending on the system). It is NSF/ANSI 55 Class ‘B’ certified.
