With Acuva’s two-step water treatment process the pre-filter is for reducing contaminants or sediment before water passes through the UV-LED device. This pre-filter is designed to fit under the sink for point-of-use water treatment systems for the Arrow 5.
This Advanced Filter is compact, easy to install and replace, last up to 4,000 gallons (15,141 L), for use with Arrow 5. It removes 99% of chlorine, lead, chromium 6, mercury, nickel, carcinogens and 95% of fluoride.
This Advanced Pre-filter is compatible with the Arrow 5 and removes 99% of chlorine, lead, chromium 6, mercury, nickel, carcinogens, 95% of fluoride, plus reduces VOCs, asbestos, unpleasant odors and turbidity.
It has NSF 42 (reduction of chlorine, taste, odor), NSF 372 (lead free compliance) and it is BPA-free.
Acuva recommends that you replace this Advanced Pre-filter after 4,000 gallons (15,141 liters), or around 12 months depending on usage.
